Research Interests

Dr. Woulfe's research interests center on the role of alpha-synuclein aggregation in the pathophysiology of Parkinson's disease. In collaboration with Dr. Doug Gray, he is creating a novel mouse model which will allow the direct visualization of alpha-synuclein aggregation in Vivo. This tool will be used to explore environmental triggers that might initiate Parkinson's disease.

Brief Biography

Dr. Woulfe is Staff Neuropathologist at the Ottawa Hospital, Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa, and Associate Scientist at the OHRI in the Center for Cancer Therapeutics.
