We do both laboratory and clinical research on breast cancer. Dr. Lorimer is our main laboratory scientist with an interest in breast cancer and therapeutics directed against this disease. Dr. Hache works at a more basic level on the endocrinology of breast cancer. There are a large number of clinical trials going on at the Cancer Centre directed at breast cancer (Drs. Dent and Verma are particularly active). Dr. Roanne Segal does research on fitness and adjuvant therapy for breast cancer patients. And Dr. Eva Grunfeld (whe now works primarily out of Halifax) works on health services delivery to breast cancer patients.
