She is an Associate Scientist with the Inflammation and Chronic Disease Program of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and Tier 2 Research Chair in inflammatory Arthritis with the University of Ottawa.

Prior to joining the University of Ottawa she was a Rheumatologist with Marmara University, Turkey.
