Job Description
The SCIENCES and Hatching Ideas Lab is seeking a post-doctoral fellow to join our mental health research team. The successful candidate will co-lead a CIHR funded living systematic review on serotonergic psychedelics in the treatment of mental health conditions. They will also be expected to lead additional works in on specific area of mental health or psychopharmacology. This will include an in-depth project in one area of interest beyond psychedelics or to dive deeper into psychedelics beyond the CIHR funded project. 

Day-to-day activities will involve designing and overseeing the living systematic review, completing screening and data extraction using DistillerSR, (co)-authoring manuscripts, leading funding proposals (writing and submission process), submissions to national and international conferences, conducting statistical analyses, and knowledge translation.

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
•PhD, in a related discipline, such as mental health/psychology, psychopharmacology, or epidemiology.
•0-1 year from completion of PhD
•Strong track record of publication
•Established track record of grant writing.
•In-depth experience with statistical analyses (e.g.)
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
•Excellent organizational and time-management skills required to coordinate multiple activities to meet tight or changing deadlines.
•Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills required to deal with unexpected situations or issues.
•Flexible and cooperative spirit with a strong commitment to team efforts
•Outcome-driven with the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
•Demonstrated experience with systematic review software (DistillerSR, Covidence) preferred.
•Experience with EndNote reference manager software.

Contract Details:
This is a 2-year full-time contract, and the position will be hybrid, with occasional work at the General Campus and Riverside Professional Building.
Minimum Stipend/ Salary: $24.826/hr
