Job Description
The OMNI Research Group is seeking a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to join our research group for a 12–15-month period. The successful candidate will collaborate with investigators and assist other members of the research team to manage and coordinate several clinical research studies including industry sponsored and investigator-initiated trials. Responsibilities will include study start-up, ethics and regulatory management and recruitment of study participants, data collection, and follow-up.
Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
•Degree in a health-related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Three (3) years of clinical research experience required
•Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2), the International Conference on Harmonization – Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP), Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5
•Knowledge and experience in research methodology
•Experience with patient recruitment and performing in-person patient research visits
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Knowledge, skills and experience in preparing clinical trials applications (clinicalTrials.gov, Clinical Trials Ontario (CTO), institutional review boards)
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and clinical trials software
•Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
•Demonstrated experience in working within a multidisciplinary team and/or framework
•Able to be on-site 5 days a week and travel between campuses as needed (shuttle provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
•Registered Nurse
•Bilingual in French/English
•Certified Clinical Research Professional (ACRP OR SOCRA)
•Experience working in Women’s Health research
Contract Details:
This is a full-time temporary contract.
Salary: Min: $34.176 - Max: $45.567
