Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic part-time individual to join our radiology research team to work on a breast research trial as a Clinical Research Assistant I (CRAI). The successful candidate will be involved with one investigator-initiated study. The primary role will be recruitment of study participants in the breast program, Rose Ages Centre at the General Campus of The Ottawa Hospital.

Responsibilities include:
•Recruit participants into one study
•Data collection, data entry, data cleaning
•Obtain survey responses
•Follow-up data queries and calling enrolled participants in follow-up in two years.
•Assist with study start-up activities (approvals, regulatory documents, training)

Basic Requirements (Education/Experience):
•Secondary school diploma
•Less than 1 year of experience
•Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook
•Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonisation – Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
•Evidence of training in Food and Drug Regulations, Division 5, and/or Device Regulations, as applicable
•Excellent organizational and time management skills
•Ability to work independently and as a team member
•Adheres to confidentiality policy for sensitive patient data information

Preferred Qualifications:
•University Degree – BSc
•Bilingual (English/French)
•Clinical research experience
•Familiarity with database software
•Previous exposure to EPIC

Contract Details:
This is a part-time regular, 2 days per week, temporary contract.
Salary: Min: $22.471/hr - Max: $29.962/hr
