Jeremy Grimshaw and David Moher ranked among world’s top researchers

According to Clarivate Analytics, they are both among the most highly cited scientists in the world in the field of Social Sciences, with tens of thousands of citations each. Dr. Moher is also highly cited in Clinical Medicine. A total of 6,000 researchers made Clarivate’s list this year, out of a total of nearly eight million around the world.

Dr. Grimshaw is a world-renowned expert in systematic reviews, clinical guidelines and knowledge translation. His research has reduced the use of inappropriate lab testing among family physicians and improved the management of chronic diseases like asthma, angina and stroke. He leads The Ottawa Hospital’s Centre for Implementation Research and is a professor at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Moher is a world-leader in research methods, reporting and systematic reviews. His work has improved care for diseases such as cancer, diabetes, stroke and HIV. He leads The Ottawa Hospital’s Centre for Journalology and is an associate professor at the University of Ottawa.
