COVID-19 Evidence Network to support decision-making

Dr. Jeremy Grimshaw If every research group plays to their advantages and coordinates their efforts, we can make a big difference in minimizing the human suffering caused by COVID-19.”- Dr. Jeremy Grimshaw  To help leaders around the world respond to unprecedented challenges related to COVID-19, Drs. Jeremy Grimshaw and John Lavis are co-leading The COVID-19 Evidence Network to support Decision-making (COVID-END). Partners in the network include experts in evidence-synthesis, technology assessment and guideline development. These partners have a long track record of supporting decision-makers locally, nationally and internationally. The network’s activities span the full range of COVID-19 issues, from infection prevention and control, to mental health and family violence, education, employment, financial protection, food safety and security, government services, housing, public safety and justice, recreation and transportation. The network also covers the various contexts of the COVID-19 pandemic in low-, middle- and high-income countries. In partnership with the Africa Centre for Evidence, the network has also developed and maintains a guide to COVID-19 evidence sources

Co-leader Dr. John Lavis is Director of the McMaster Health Forum, and professor at McMaster University.
