Ottawa researchers to receive up to $775,000 to help develop disease prevention guidelines

January 6, 2016

What is the best way to screen for breast cancer? Hypertension? Diabetes? These are just a few of the tricky questions tackled by the influential Canadian Task Force on Preventive Health Care. Drs. David Moher and Julian Little and their team will now play a key role in answering these kinds of questions, thanks to a new partnership with the Task Force, which is funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada. Drs. Moher and Little and their team will receive up to $775,000 over two years to serve as one of two Evidence Review Synthesis Centres for the Task Force.
