My streams of research are grounded in social accountability and a key focus is working collaboratively with impacted communities, health care providers, and policy makers, to ensure that the areas of inquiry and evidence generated are reflective of the need and priorities of Canadians. I have two overarching areas of inquiry:

1. To generate evidence on the health impacts of substance use including changes over time and inequities in harm
2. To improve access to comprehensive primary care
