2014: Co-investigator on multi-year research project at TOH studying the impact of palliative care consultation on resource utilization during the final 48-72 hours of life. One manuscript submitted for publication.
2013: Co-Investigator on multi-year research project at TOH studying documentation of end-of-life care preferences for inpatients who died in hospital. Manuscript published in The Cambridge Quarterly of Healthcare Ethics.
2012: Received $25,000.00 in funding from CIHR as a Principal Applicant on A Meetings, Planning, and Dissemination grant. This grant was for 25 Ethics Education Program (2012) scholarships in the Champlain LHIN (dissemination activity).
2011: Received $7,400.00 in funding from CIHR as Principal Applicant on a Meetings, Planning and Dissemination Grant. This grant was for the a structured health care ethics retreat for stakeholders in Iqaluit, Nunavut, to develop regional ethics programming.
