My main research program is on implementation science / practice change in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine: the goal is to optimize evidence based best practice in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine.

Project: "The implications of gender for operating room team performance,
teamwork interventions, and equitable patient outcomes"
- Co-supervision of thesis by Drs. Boet and Taljaard
- Duration of funding and project: 3 years
- Salary according to the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute pay scale ($21,000 per year for 3 successive years)

Project: "Knowledge translation interventions in perioperative medicine and anesthesiology: a systematic review of multicenter RCTs"
- Suitable for topic of thesis and/or research paper
- Co-supervision of thesis by Drs. Boet and Presseau
- Duration of funding and project: 2 years
- Preferably for Master’s student in first year
- Salary according to the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute pay scale ($19,000 per year for 2 successive years)
- Possibility of first authorship position for the student as per international criteria
