The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) is the research arm of The Ottawa Hospital and is responsible for enabling and administering all research at the Hospital’s three main campuses (General, Civic and Riverside).

The Ottawa Health Science Network Research Ethics Board (OHSN-REB) provides streamlined ethics review for The Ottawa Hospital and several other health care institutions in Ottawa. OHSN-REB also partners with Clinical Trials Ontario and the Ontario Cancer Research Ethics Board for province-wide studies.
