Lupus

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE or lupus) is an autoimmune disease that primarily affects women. The Ottawa Hospital is recruiting patients into a Canada wide lupus registry to better assess patient disease. Our researchers are also beginning translational work to understand how lupus develops and progresses.
