Bio

Dr. Sunita Mulpuru is a staff Respirologist at The Ottawa Hospital, Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa, and Associate Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

She obtained her MD degree from McMaster University, and completed clinical training in Internal Medicine with a specialization in Respiratory Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Following this, she pursued the Clinician Investigator Program and a Masters of Science in Epidemiology at the University of Ottawa.

Research Goals and Interests

 

•   Respiratory viral infections: epidemiology and outcomes

•   Respiratory Infection Control in Hospitals

•   Improving models of care for frail patients with COPD
