How does donor support make a difference?
Donor support feeds the roots of all research at The Ottawa Hospital, providing researchers with access to specialized equipment, facilities and support services, as well as salary support, training and seed funding.
This support greatly increases the chance that our researchers will be successful in obtaining competitive external peer-reviewed grants and contracts. This kind of external funding is critical for supporting a researcher’s staff, trainees and supplies.
When all parts of the research ecosystem are supported, researchers can make breakthroughs that change lives and improve care around the world.
