Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as part of a national initiative aimed at building on existing supports and enhancing the experiences of families involved in the deceased organ donation process. The primary focus of this position is the development, organization, and dissemination of tools, resources, and educational materials designed to support family members and clinicians throughout the organ donation journey. The successful candidate will contribute to all stages of resource development, including evidence review, engagement with family partners and clinical stakeholders, content creation, iterative refinement, and distribution. This role will also involve preparing materials for publication and broad educational use. Applicants should have strong writing skills, experience developing educational or informational materials, and comfort working with content related to bereavement and end-of-life care. This position involves close collaboration with investigators, national partners, Organ Donation Organizations (ODOs), family advisors, and clinicians across Canada.
Basic Requirements
- Master’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., Public Health, Health Research Methodology, Psychology, Social Sciences, Communication/Knowledge Translation, Health Education)
- Experience developing health-related tools, educational resources, or informational materials
- Demonstrated writing and editing skills tailored to both professional and lay audiences
- Experience conducting literature reviews and synthesizing evidence
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse partners
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of TCPS-2 and GCP guidelines, or willingness to complete required training
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in organ donation, end-of-life care, or critical care settings
- Experience working with bereaved families
- Knowledge of Canadian Organ Donation Organization practices
- Experience developing web content, infographics, or digital educational materials
- Proficiency in qualitative data collection or user experience (UX) feedback methods
- Experience preparing materials for broad distribution or publication (e.g., patient resources, clinician tools, websites, guides, or toolkits)
- Bilingual in English and French (A- level or higher)

Min: $29.718 - Max: $39.624
