Job description
The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) is pleased to invite applications for the Richard Steacie Fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Research, established through the generous support of the Steacie Family in partnership with The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. This prestigious fellowship is designed to support an exceptional postdoctoral researcher conducting innovative basic, translational, and/or clinical research in multiple sclerosis at OHRI. The successful candidate will join a vibrant and collaborative research environment within OHRI's Neuroscience Program, working alongside leading scientists and clinicians committed to advancing brain and nervous system health. Through OHRI's internationally recognized Multiple Sclerosis research group, fellows will contribute to research aimed at improving our understanding, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of MS.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
• Hold a PhD, MD, DPhil, or equivalent doctoral degree by the start date of the fellowship.
• Be eligible for appointment as a postdoctoral fellow at OHRI.
• Conduct research focused on multiple sclerosis within an OHRI research program.
• Demonstrate a strong record of research achievement and potential for future excellence.
Fellowship Details
The Richard Steacie Fellowship will provide support for highly qualified postdoctoral fellow pursuing innovative research that has the potential to improve the lives of people affected by multiple sclerosis.
