Yet despite these changes, one principle has remained constant: high-quality research depends on rigorous methodological thinking.

As the Ottawa Methods Centre (OMC) celebrates its 20th anniversary, join us for a discussion on how methodological expertise has evolved alongside the changing research landscape and why it remains essential in an increasingly AI-enabled world. Learn how engaging biostatisticians, health economists, as well as patient engagement and implementation science experts early in the research process can strengthen study design, improve efficiency, and maximize the impact of research findings.

Through real-world examples from OMC's past and present, we'll explore how researchers can leverage emerging technologies while benefiting from the critical thinking, scientific judgement, and multidisciplinary expertise required to ensure research is robust, reproducible, and meaningful.
