Speaker details

Ivan Terekhov is the Director of Research Informatics, AI & Technology at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Research Institute, where he leads teams that turn health data and technology into practical tools for researchers, clinicians, and patients. His work focuses on applying artificial intelligence methods on routinely collected health data to improve patient care.

Ivan is the technical lead for the ThinkRare project, an algorithm‑driven approach that analyzes pediatric health data to help identify children who may be living with undiagnosed rare diseases, supporting earlier diagnosis and improved outcomes for patients and families.
