Job description
We are seeking a Clinical Research Assistant II (CRAII) for several new grant-funded research initiatives within the Division of Infectious Diseases. The successful applicant will serve as a research assistant for multiple projects including studies on infections in immunocompromised hosts, including topics such as the gut microbiome and immunization. There will be a focus on projects involving patients with hematologic malignancy and transplants. Work on these studies will include participant identification, recruitment and consent; chart review for data collection and management of data entry; sample collection and liaison with research laboratory; and oversight of regulatory documentation.
Basic Requirements
- Secondary diploma
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a health research environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Organization skills to balance several projects at same time
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility to meet demanding deadlines
- Computer skills: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint)
- Evidence of training certification in Tri-Council Policy Statement -2 (TCPS-2) and the International Conference on Harmonisation – Good Clinical Practice Guidelines (ICH-GCP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the EPIC electronic medical record for chart review and data entry
- Experience with ethics board (REB) procedures
- Experience with database (ex. RedCap) for data entry, database management and creation

Salary
Min: $26.423/hr - Max: $35.230
