Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as part of a national initiative aimed at building on existing supports and enhancing the experiences of families involved in the deceased organ donation process. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the development, refinement, and evaluation of a Family Satisfaction Survey Tool, designed for routine quality improvement (QI). The successful candidate will contribute to all aspects of survey development, including literature review, item generation, stakeholder engagement, data collection, pilot testing, and data analysis. This work will be conducted in close collaboration with investigators, family partners, national stakeholders, and clinical teams. In addition to the core survey activities, the successful candidate may also support other components of the national program, such as developing tools, resources, or educational materials to assist family members throughout the organ donation journey. This role requires strong communication skills, methodological rigor, sensitivity to working with bereaved families, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a collaborative environment.
Basic Requirements
- Postsecondary degree or diploma
- 5 years of administrative assistant experience.
- Familiar with health services research or quality improvement
- Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating surveys
- Experience conducting literature reviews and evidence synthesis
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including experience preparing and publishing manuscripts
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with REDCap or similar survey/data collection platforms
- Knowledge of TCPS-2 and GCP guidelines, or willingness to complete required training
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a health-related field (e.g., Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Research Methodology, Psychology, Social Sciences)
- Experience with organ donation processes, end-of-life care, critical care, or related healthcare settings
- Experience working with bereaved families
- Knowledge of Canadian Organ Donation Organization practices
- Bilingual in English and French (A- level or higher)

This is a part-time contract.

Min: $29.718 - Max: $39.624
