The Natural Language Processing (NLP) Lab at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHRI) develops advanced artificial intelligence methods to support medical research, clinical knowledge synthesis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Led by Arya Rahgozar, AI Scientist at OHRI, the lab focuses on the application of NLP and machine learning to address some of the most pressing challenges in modern healthcare research—namely the rapid growth of scientific literature, fragmented knowledge ecosystems, and the increasing need for effective collaboration across disciplines.
