Dr. Yadav's current research interests involve common infectious diseases that are treated in the Emergency Department. His current focus is on improving the care of patients with skin and soft tissue infections (i.e. cellulitis) with a goal toward achieving a meaningful reduction in: (a) unnecessary IV antibiotic use; (b) hospitalization; and (c) treatment failure rates.
His main interests are in conducting randomized controlled trials to answer important questions about optimal treatment options for skin and soft tissue infections in the emergency department setting.
