Speaker details

Melissa Judd is Vice President, Research Operations & Academic Partnerships at the Vector Institute, where she brings over 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, strategic initiatives and program development. At Vector, she leads a team to advance strategies to attract and retain top talent to Canada to fuel research excellence, workforce development in AI and responsible AI adoption. 

Prior to joining Vector, Melissa worked at the Schulich School of Business, York University for over a decade, leading student recruitment and student services, international relations and financial aid portfolios for the school. Melissa holds an MBA from Schulich and bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Ottawa.
