Overview

The OHRI Proteomics Core Facility empowers your research projects through the detection and quantitation of proteins with high-resolution mass spectrometry coupled to liquid chromatography (LC-MS).

From initial project consultation, to efficient sample preparation techniques, and tailored data analysis workflows, we are here to help squeeze the most out of your datasets and uncover insights into your project's biological mechanisms.

The Core facility is experienced in analyzing various sample inputs ranging from those with lower proteomic complexity such as:

  • purified protein in gel bands
  • immunoprecipitations
  • BioID affinity-purifications

to those containing several thousands of proteins including:

  • Bulk Cell lysates
  • FAC-sorted rare cell populations
  • Extracellular vesicles (EV's)
  • Mouse model tissues

The Core can also profile post-translational modifications (PTM) either on purified proteins or, on a global lysate analysis using various enrichment strategies and alternative proteases.

Please contact Andrew at proteomics@ohri.ca before submitting any samples and arrange a free consultation on your project's needs.
