OHRI Research Contracts launches an updated New Contract Review Form (NFF)!

The OHRI Research Contracts Office is excited to announce that the updated New Contract Review Form (NFF) is now live. Effective July 21, 2026, the new system is the sole method for OHRI investigators and staff to submit new requests to the Research Contracts Office that cannot be submitted through the Clinical Research Registration Form (CRRF).

What Has Changed?

Unlike the previous version of the NFF, the new system includes several enhancements designed to make the submission and review process more efficient and transparent. Two key features are:

1. Status Display
2. Comment System

Status Display

The integrated status display allows submitters to view the current status of their NFF submission at any time. As the Research Contracts Office reviews and triages requests, the status will be updated accordingly. This provides greater visibility into the review process and reduces the need for follow-up inquiries.

Comment System

The new comment system allows both submitters and reviewers to communicate directly within the application. Similar to the CRRF, the Research Contracts Office will use this feature to request additional information, ask questions, and provide updates related to your submission.

Important Reminder

As of July 21, 2026, at 8:00 AM (EDT), the previous NFF system will no longer accept new requests. All new submissions must be submitted through the updated NFF.
