Methodological and Implementation Research Program
MIR assembles our hospital’s interdisciplinary expertise in the innovative development and rigorous application of health research methods to improve health and health care using the best available evidence.
The Methodological and Implementation Research Program includes 50 scientists and 214 investigators, along with their research trainees and staff.
Scientists
These researchers have PhDs, MDs or both and devote at least 40 per cent of their time to research (but typically more than 75 per cent). All our scientists are also professors at the University of Ottawa and many are active clinicians at The Ottawa Hospital.
